Discount garden statues tend to be mass-produced in concrete or plastic. They should not be described as 'sculpture' and they should rarely be used in gardens. Instead of developing a welcome 'patina of ages' the tendency of concrete is to become stained and cracked. So please resist the temptation to buy discount statues for your garden.

    Discount garden statues are best found, by chance, in retail stores. This statue was obviously inspired by Sandro Botticelli of the Birth of Venus (The Primavera). She stands in front of a cast iron urn and other rusty items which enhance her innocence.
