Cheap lighting

The old retail adage 'you get what you pay for' is only sometimes true. On many occasions 'buy the cheapest or buy the best' is the right axiom. Since cheap garden lighting is often trash, our advice is: Buy the Best Garden Lights. You do not want cheap plastic materials, trashy colours or cheap wiring. Garden lights should be manufactured to high safety standards and using beautiful long-lastiing materials: copper, bronze, stainless steel, stone, natural wood, bamboo, cast iron etc. There are two exceptions which prove the rule: (1) if the lighting is concealed the appearance of the fittings is unimportant (2) the Sunjar lantern is cheap and cheerful.
